      Simple Qualifications of Parents Visa

      In order to sponsor parents visa in Dubai, you should have the following requirements:

      Financial and residential needs of Sponsor

      Minimum Salary

      The resident, who sponsors an individual, must earn at least AED 20,000 monthly or at least AED 19,000 if he/she has two bedroom apartments.

      Accommodation

      It must have sufficient evidence of housing and in this case it should be a tenancy contract of the two-bedroom accommodation.

      Checklist of Parents Visa Application Document

      To apply a parents visa in UAE, these are the documents required:

      The Sponsor will be required to produce documents

      such as a copy of passport, Emirates ID and UAE residency visa.

      Parents needed to bring

      copies of passport, passport-size photos, and certificates (e.g. Death or Divorce Certificate in case of need).

      Demonstration of relationship (certified by your embassy/consulate), demonstration of income (salary certificate or job contract) and tenancy contract.

      Both parents are supposed to be sponsored unless death and divorce is established using relevant written records.

      Single Supporter

      The sponsor has to demonstrate that they are the sole supporter of their parents, and no other support exists in their home country.

      1. Prepare Documents

      Make sure all the papers are prepared, signed and translated where necessary.

      Application must be submitted at the General Directorate of residency and foreigners affairs, Dubai.

      Pay all visa application fees.

      Within 48 hours receive an entry permit from your parents. They can also be processed urgently.

      Your parents will be able to travel to the UAE once they are issued with the entry permit.

      Complete the residency visa procedure in 60 days after arriving in Dubai.

      Renewal of Parents Visa

      It is important to renew your parents visa in Dubai. It goes in a renewal process as follows:

      • Renewal Application Form : Signed.
      • Parents Documents : Original and copies of their passports, original entry permission and three passport-size photographs.
      • Sponsors Documents : A copy of your passport, contract of employment and salary certificate
      • Medical Fitness Certificate : This is necessary to renew the visa.

      • Present Documents : Visit the closest branch of GDRFA and bring with you all the documents.
      • Pay Fees : The renewal fee is AED 100 a year.
      • Processing Time : The time of processing is usually 24 hours.
      Fees and Fines
      • Fee : AED 110 and the typing center fee.
      • Late Renewal Fines :AED 25 per day during the first six months, AED 50 per day during the following six months.
